This oil painting is in memory of my teacher and mentor, Maggi Spahr.  She gave this to me before her death in 1986.

This is her work in oil. She never explained who he had been but you sensed he was important in her memories.

Maggi's work was influenced by the drama of her favorite artist, El Greco.
